The Ice House was constructed in 1895 and was home to the Littleton Creamery and Beatrice Foods Cold Storage Warehouse. The building boasts exceptionally skilled brick and masonry work and the building served as a cold storage warehouse in continuous use for eighty years.
Abandoned as a cold storage facility in 1979, work began in the Winter of 1984 to convert the building into loft residences with the expertise of Del E. Webb Construction Services Company of Phoenix and Kittredge Construction Company of Denver. In 1985 the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places. With it’s renaissance-style architecture and highly desirable location next to Union Station, Ice House offers some of the most sought after loft residences in LoDo for lease and sale.
